heh. updating once a month. hm 3 weeks of holiday have already passed! i guess this is the most fulfilling holiday i ever had! (: going around hunting for jobs, working in new environments, knowing new friends and meeting kind people, cross-stitching new designs, planning for my tomorrow, inviting friends to my house to play, watching interesting dramas... :D

ahh baona, very sorry for not going out with you before you left for china. although im having fun back in spore here, im sort of missing my 407 classmates who're in china now! ): it feels like there's a part of my life missing. hah see how important you all are to me!

oh yea, today's the release of psle results, bpps's highest score is 279! YAY! that's a rather high score. my friends who took psle this year are faring quite well too, from what i heard. that's good! (:

i've been working as a part-time waitress in a jap restaurant, j-toshi, in M hotel. it's not the usual jap restaurants my family usually eat at, but a more high-class venue to enjoy japanese fare. you have a high price to pay to eat there, for i had a glance at the prices and found out that for set lunches, set A- $28, set B- $36, set C- $48 and for the dinner a la carte buffet, children's price- $28, adult's price- $48! WAHHH. jaw-dropping prices ahh. these prices are rough estimates from my memory la, wanna know the exact prices, visit the restaurant for a meal! :P however, 一分钱,一分货, the food's taste, presentation are really of top quality and freshness! not to forget, there's a good ambience, with GREAT SERVICE! (without me serving you X))

i pity the customers served by me, cos as a newbie and a blur queen, i cant really balance the tray with my palm and serve with the other. while im putting down a dish onto the table for the customer w my left hand, the rest of the dishes on the tray in my other hand will go sliding here and there, leaving my customer staring nervously at my right hand. very paiseh! if not, i'll put down the set lunch wrongly, with the rice away from the customer. >< worse still, i will drop the set lunch all of a sudden despite trying to place it gently onto the table because i accidentally touched the hot claypot and it was REALLY hot. its quite a tough job cos you have to stand throughout and carry and balance heavy trays, maintain a smile and attend to customers. but it was an enriching learning experience and there's a sense of satisfaction after serving batches after batches of customers. and seldom do i meet nasty customers, the customers are always very friendly and kind!

hm okay, working is a rather fun and enriching experience. hope that bsp ppl in china are also having fun! :D take care and miss ya'all.
